I was wondering how big the safes were at ASMU, will my laptop fit in it? If not has anyone ever had a problem with thing "disappearing"? Thanks

I can't speak for the All Star resorts, but at Coronado the safes are not that big. Good for small valuables not big enough for laptops. I did bring my laptop and did not have a problem at CSR with missing items. Now, some people may be shocked that I brought my laptop and left it out in my room, and I may have been really lucky that it didn't walk off - it's at your own risk.

The safes are not big enough for a laptop. Just for your small valuables, cameras, money, and things such as that.

Niki...

I haven't seen the safes.....but, I did see a good idea on this topic mentioned in another thread on this board.

Bring a suitcase with a lock on it. When you leave the room, make sure to put your laptop in that suitcase and lock it.

The luggage is less likely to be stolen than just a laptop bag sitting around your room....especially if it's a big piece of luggage.

I usually just put mine away in a dresser drawer when I'm on the road....and I've never had any problems that way either. If you put the laptop in a locking suitcase, however, you are just going one step further to prevent any theft threat.
