A question for those of you who have flown to Oahu recently and used the Safe Travels Hawaii website...
How long does it take to get a green QR code or does it stay yellow until you've been screened at the departure airport?
Mine has been yellow since I submitted it several weeks ago and I don't know if I filled out the form incorrectly or it just takes time to get a green code. The website also says you can check the vaccination information you entered by clicking on the vaccine exemption link but nothing comes up. Thanks for your help

We flew to O'ahu on January 18th and our QR was yellow when scanned at JFK. It has never turned green.

It may or may not change green. If your the only one on your profile it will turn green once you land and your vaccine info is verified. However if you have children on your profile who are exempt (under 5) it will always stay yellow. Happened to me. My wife’s turned green and mine stayed yellow the entire trip.

I know the safe travels site is set to expire in a few weeks but here’s my experience. We uploaded our negative tests from a approved provided and our QR codes changed to green almost immediately. It left the ‘screened’ box as red and unchecked but that is because we obviously had not been screened at the airport.
But we noticed a lot of people did not have their ducks in a row upon getting in line for the safe travels check point. people didn’t have all the info inputted correctly or didn’t have profiles at all! They had a few computers available. But we followed the instructions exactly and we were screened quickly and without issue. One thing is that do not just want a screen shot of your code. They want to see your code while logged in to the site.
