I uploaded our covid tests this morning around 9:00am we used emed. Still have not had them reviewed. Friends using other testing options have already been cleared. What are others experiences with how long it takes them to approve emed? Thanks.

We used eMed also for this Saturday's cruise. Uploaded same time-ish 9am EST for our family of 4. Still has not cleared yet.

How about when using Safe Passage/Inspire for the testing? Is there an advantage to not using a third party to test by finding out you are cleared with a negative test quicker? In order to meet the testing requirement within two days of sailing we need to test very early in the morning (like 4 or 5 am) and will need to start traveling before we officially get cleared.

We just tested with Safe Passage/Inspire this morning and she uploaded everything for us immediately, so we were “clear to sail” in the time it took the test to be completed. Took about 20 minutes to do four of us. Myself and three kids. I did myself first, and then she put a 10-minute timer on mine, and then i started the first kid, put a timer on his, etc…so they were all getting approved about two minutes apart….She had us log in to the Safe Passage website to see that it was all clear as soon as each person’s 10 minutes was up. I also received an email with the negative result. Was more costly than the OnPoint option, especially with six people , but I wanted the easiest possible. I didn’t have to do any uploading. So if you have to test @ 5am, it will be uploaded, approved (if negative, obviously) and ready to go before you end the call.

We tested yesterday at 10am with Onpoint. Uploaded negative test results 45 minutes later. Received “clear to sail” this morning at 8am.

Thank you, This is why I will probably use Safe Passage/Inspire regardless of the cost. I just want the easiest path forward that will let us start traveling and not worry about some glitch that caused a problem once we are on the road.

We were the same way-we wanted the easiest way possible. We did Inspire and it was so quick. We had an 8:30 appt and we were all done by 8:50. I know it was more money but I didn't want to be bothered with uploading it myself .

We used OnPoint for testing. Tested last night at 6, uploaded by 7, and just received the Clear to Sail. So it was 23 hours for us.

I just came back from the Wonder (Aug 1) and we uploaded our 3rd party results on Sunday July 31st at 8:50am (Vancouver) and received the Clear to Sail on Monday, the embarkation day, at 2:46am (Vancouver). So, it was about 18 hours for us.

I was also on this sailing. We uploaded one result on Saturday around 8:30 am Central and one on Sunday around 9:00 am Vancouver time. The Sunday upload was approved overnight Sunday to Monday. The Saturday upload wasn’t approved until about 9:00 am on Monday morning. That was frustrating.

I have a suspicion that the Wonder sailings are impacted by departing on Monday just like the Wish. That’s a lot of test results to approve.

We used eMed last week and it took about 24 hours for the tests to get approved on the Safe Passage website. We tested 2 days prior. I was not at all worried.
