We have stayed on 2 separate occasions. Our first room was on the ground level close to the pool area - although the location was great, the noise was a little too much. On our second stay, we were on the third floor, facing Palm Parkway - much better for us.
Our grandson loved the snake pool!!

Stayed 7 nights one year and 8 nights the next...Nice place and quite clean. The location is really close to Downtown Disney and some great restaurants.

If you can get a good deal, I say go for it.

I've stayed here a few times over the years, the most recent being in May. Great location, clean rooms and great pool slide...one of my fav off-site resorts!!

We stayed there in 2005, and loved it so much that we changed our plans last year just so we could stay there again! We love it! The breakfast buffet is excellent. Good variety, very fresh, reasonable price. You can become a Starwoods Preferred member through the Sheraton website. It is free to join, and as a Starwood Preferred Guest you should receive a room in the main building with a balcony, or you may be upgraded to a nicer room or suite free of charge.

Terrific hotel in a great location. Sign up for the email newsletter at www.travelzoo.com. The last 2 years The Sheraton Safari has run a special for $59. each night (Oct-Dec). I booked it both years through travelzoo's Top 20 email.

Ahhhh, the Safari Sheraton.

My high school's performing arts team stayed there for a 4 night turned 7 night stay in Florida. We were doing Magic Music Days at Epcot and another show at Universal in February, and a blizzard up north cancelled our flight home.

The Sheraton accommodated our large group of about 28 people for an additional 3 days at CHEAPER cost. The hotel had clean rooms, a good pool, and nice breakfast. Close to Downtown Disney! Other places to eat very nearby!

Location is an A+ for an off-site...food is a C...rooms, common areas grade out at a B or so in my book. Thus, for the right price its a go for us usually.

They maket rooms through Travelzoo and priceline at some steep discounts...this summer got a room for $45 a night

Stayed there in December 2006 for 3 nights. Got a good Priceline rate of $39/night. The hotel was clean and very close to Downtown Disney. We are staying at AKL in November, but would definitely stay at the Safari again!

We've stayed here before. It's a nice place. Close to everything. We walked over to Pizza Hut a few times to grab a pizza to bring to our room. We were going to stay there again this year but I got sick and we had to cancel our plans. Worked out well though b/c we got to save money and stay on Disney property instead later in the year. The Disney gods work in mysterious ways.
