Safari Club: RFC and TRex

Anyone else have the Safari Club card? Entitles you to 10% off or a free appetizer w/purchase of entree. I know the free appetizer selections are limited to only part of the appetizer menu. Anyone know what the choices are for both Rainforest and T-Rex (Safari Club customer service said card discounts were good at both places, but preferred seating only offered at Rainforest). Thanks!

It's a membership card that you can get at Rainforest. It costs $10 (as of when we signed up a few years back), but they mail you a 10.00 certificate, so it's a wash. And then everytime you go, you get 10% off entrees or a free (from a selection) appetizer w/purchase of entree. Also money off in gift shop and priority seating. They also mail you 5.00 cards on your b-day. Apparently, the discount priveleges are also good at T-Rex (but not the priority seating).

Even if you can't use the $10 certificate, might still be worth signing up if you plan on visiting RFC and then T-Rex later in the same trip. 2 free appetizers easily totals more than 10.00 sign up fee-and depending on how many are in your party, the 10% off works, too. Plus, portions are huge, so I usually just eat the appetizer as my meal. When we signed up, we were able to use it on that meal-not sure if that's still the same.

Dont' want to sound like a commercial, but it really is a great savings. Unfortunately you have to sign up AT a RFC location. But if you ask for an ap when you first sit down, they could easily get it processed by the end of the meal.

Not sure about the apps offered with the card at T-Rex. Generally it is limited to Cheese Stix, Quesadillas, etc. (cheaper priced) at RFC though. Just an FYI, I don't know if T-Rex is accepting the Safari Club Card yet so you might ask if planning to use it. When I asked a couple of months ago, I was told that they did not. I have not emailed them back since then.

I just made a ressie for T-Rex in May and just as an FYI they will also give a 10% discount for both AP holders and DVC Members.

10% off is good! I'm a DVC member- I guess they would just need your DVC card and I.D., correct?

(don't know if I did that right-still new to the boards)-do you have an e-mail address? When I called the Safari Club customer service last week, they said the 10%/free appetizer was good at both places, but I'd love to get that in writing/e-mail.

FYI, made reservations last night and confirmed with T-Rex that Safari Club discount is good there as well
