Safari Celebration Dinner

Has anyone ever done this and have any opinions on it. We are a party of 10 and looking for something cool to do for part of the family for their anniversary.

I also did a post asking about the Safari- since we are a party of 8! The Magical Fireworks Voyage sounds good also. I posted a few weeks ago about Grand Gathering experiences and didn't get too much feedback. Maybe not a lot of people have done Grand Gatherings??!! Good luck- I'm interested to see if anyone has any opinions on it too!

Our group will be doing this during the Labour Day Weekend.

We are also doing the International Dinner/Illuminations Dessert too!

But from what I have read...............

The dinner is so so but the dessert and illuminations part is MAGICAL!

I will have pics for both events after our trip in September.

Our family (14 of us) are doing both the Illuminations dinner and the Safari dinner on July 14th and July 9th respectively. I will post a report when I get back on July 15th. They sound really good. Most people that have posted regarding these have positive things to say. Cannot wait. 10 days and counting........

I booked the Safari at 407-wdw-plan, I think we would have rather have done the Illuminations but it will not be going on while we are there because of the international food and wine fest

I have posted in the past on DIS, not too much information or details on these Grand Gathering Events.
We have a group of 10ppl and I made the ressies thru the Grand Gathering CM. Very Helpful too.
We are doing the Safari Celebration & Intl Dinner & Illuminations Dessert Reception.
We also have the Dining Plan & it takes 2 TS credits to do these, seems quite worth it!
From info I got/read, it sounds awesome & wonderful!
WHAT I would like is feedback from others who have done this already, and photos would be great !!!!
