Safari after dark?

Whatever happened to Kilimanjaro Safari running after dark? Wasn't it just a few years ago that they put in all the special lighting and such to allow for it to run at night? Does that ever occur anymore?

Yes, they used to do it, and have not in quite some time. They might've stopped that even pre-Covid. We did it once, thought it would be really fun. It was actually quite boring. The lighting made it difficult to see any animals, and many of the animals chose to not be on the savannah after dark. I think it just didn't work well and wasn't worth the disruption to the animals.
