Just took my ticker down after completing another fun filled Disney vacation. Back to work for me this morning. Guess I will have to plan another Disney trip. How's the Halloween party????

I hate going back to work after a great WDW trip. I'm going to my 1st hween party this fall! I'm going the first week of oct make sure to post reviews & everything on your amazing trip!

I did the Halloween Party in 2010. It was a lot of fun. We didn't do any of the candy (2 adults, no kids), but we had a blast doing all the special photo ops and the parade was AWESOME. This year I'm going back to do the Christmas party!

I know what you mean. The Disney blues can hit pretty hard. This year, I feel like I actually want to slow the ticker down because once we get home, school will start up again. Oh, if only we could live at WDW. I am not sure I would ever get tired of it!

I know how you feel! You wait so long to get to Disney and before you know it is pooof in the wind. Don't worry...that is the beauty of waiting for your next trip!

The Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom is great...I do it every year I go towards the end of October.

When I first read the title I thought there was going to be something tragic that happened while you were on vacation.

Thank goodness it's just a sadness about having to leave WDW.

It's so sad coming back to reality after a great Disney vacation...I call it Disney Depression...lol. I did find a cure though!! I always have another trip planned BEFORE I leave the park for the final time. Doesn't matter if its a month or a year away..as long as I have put a deposit on whatever it is that needs a deposit..I can tell you it does WONDERS with the "last day at Disney blues" It's the only way I can function

And Halloween IMHO is the absolute BEST time of year to go! MNSSHP, crowds, weather are all amazing! There is also free dining going on this year, so maybe take a look??

I HHHHAAAAATTTTEEEE the Disney blues. I always cry in the hotel room the night before we leave and on the plane as we leave Orlando. Worst. Ever.

DH has started insisting that on the plane home we write down what we loved, what we didn't love, what we haven't yet done, what we'd want to do again, and what we'd never do again so our next trip is just that much better. That helps a bit.

I hate the Disney Blues!

Life was so busy before we left I never got to enjoy the anticipation and now that we are back we have had some family hurdles to get over so we didn't get to enjoy the time to sit back and talk about how fun it was. I wish we lived closer so we could go down a couple of times a year but DD is finishing college and has internships so we hope to go back next year but we really don't know. I would love to plan another mini vacation this summer but it would take some pixie dust for things to work out.

I hear you!!! DH and I went this April, and I was so sad when it was over because I didn't see us going back for a loooooong time. Happily enough, DD wanted to go in June (she couldn't come with us in April because she had finals for college) and OF COURSE I said yes!!!! So we're heading back in 2 1/2 weeks! I definately think planning the next trip makes coming home far easier!!!

I definitely know how you feel! I started back to work today after a 9 day WDW trip and boy, does it stink!! Thank God for DIS otherwise I'd be going crazy with Disney depression!

Taking down the ticker is the hardest part... We cure that by usually having a trip in the works immediately upon returning...if not before we even leave!

Yep.. the only way to cure the blues is to plan the next trip. It doesn't even matter how far away it is, just as long as I know when I'll be going back.

OR you could buy annual passes and become a complete nut like me and have 3 trips in 12 months.

We've been back less than a month, are going again in August, and I'm already plotting the February trip

I'll be feeling that next Monday. Just found out that I have a meeting in Indy the morning after we get back, at 8:30am (and 3 1/2 hours away). Which means that after we get home from our flight at around 8:00pm, I'll have to turn right around and get back on the road. I'm literally packing a bag for the meeting before we go so that when we get home, I'll just grab my toiletries from the Disney bag, put them into the meeting bag, and head down.

Maybe I'll have to get a Disney playlist going so that I can at least try to extend the magic just a little longer....

But we're headed back to the Poly in October for MNSSHP, so I can't complain too much.

Aw, thanks, Kimi! Yes, it is a whole lot harder to find time to go with DD - she's so busy! I'm just glad for any time I get with her now! At some point, though, when she has babies of her own, you KNOW Grammy will be bringing them to Disney! LOL! But that's in the WAAAAAAYYYYY future, of course, she's only 19!

I'm the person at Orlando International that everyone is looking at, because I am crying uncontrollably! I hate leaving Disney!!

As for MNSSHP, we went in 2010 as two adults, dressed up, did trick-or-treating, did the halloween parade, pictures at the haunted mansion, etc. It was a really great time. I love Christmas at Disney, but they do a great job with Halloween also!!!! Try it sometime!

We were in the same boat today, OP!

I got back from a great Disney trip on Friday and went back to work today. I am sad and I want to go back. I know for sure about our trip 2 years from now but I am trying to fit one in next year if I can!! I can't wait 2 years!
