Sad story.

Last night around 9:30ish we all heard a loud boom, and our house shook. We occasionally get earthquakes so we didnt think much of it. We turn on the news and we find out a couple streets away a house exploded, and lifted off the foundation. Around an hour ago the woman died, the husband is in critical condition, and the just found their dog alive in the basement.

Prayers go out to the family, and the families around them. I know a neighbor who had 40,000 dollars + damaged done to her house.

Oh, wow! Why did it explode?

BTW, I freak out everytime I hear a weird noise outside. It's ALWAYS nothing. I've recently formed more self-control, and try not to jump up like a crazy person and run outside to see what it was. Anyways, the other night I heard a weird boom, but I waited a while to check it out. Of course, this time, something had actually happened. Part of a tree had fallen on my dad's truck. It's feulin' my craziness.

A natural gas leak.

Believe it or not, something like this happened to me like, 4 mos ago.

Also, this kid from my school was vacationing, and had a gas explosion, there were 3 kids, and their parents both died. The grandparents survived and helped raisethem, though. They were about 12-15 yrs old

I'm sorry to hear about these stories.. I would never even think about having a natural gas leak in my house...
Was it caused by carbon monoxide?
