Hello everyone,

It has taken me a little while to gather up the nerve to post here. My DW Susan was fond of all of her DIS friends. She looked forward to reading up on the news of the day and did not hesitate to jump in! Her generosity and participation allowed me to be more of a lurker on the DIS.

Our family has been on an unimaginable journey that lasted only 14 months. While it began and continued with great uncertainty, this journey was also filled with blessings of friendship, thoughts and prayers. I cannot thank you enough for your support during this time of intense loss.

I appreciate all of the wishes. It is helping to give me a lift as I try to navigate through the emptiness that I am feeling, and to also keep life as level as possible for our two dear children (DS11 and DD4). They are certainly helping to keep me from getting too out of touch with reality.
