Sad news ... looking for sympathy

Hello all Disney fans. I have some very sad news. We were planning a trip to Disney World Florida next winter, and because of car problems (two weeks ago our fuel pump went, and last night my husband was in an accident - he's fine, but our truck is in some serious trouble) the cost of everything means there is a very good chance we won't be able to go. This was to be our first vacation since our honeymoon, which will be five years next year. *Sigh* Very depressed. Looking for sympathy.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck... but glad to hear that your husband is ok.A lot can happen in a year so hopefully you'll have lots of good luck and still have your trip.

LOL! Ahh, I like the lotto comment. Thanks for the support everyone! Yes I am very happy, and relieved that my DH is ok. I'm just feeling sorry for myself. But like I said to my friend this afternoon, as bad as possibly giving up our trip is, my wishes and hopes for the immediate future, is that somehow a limo shows up at our door when I go into labour so I can get a classy ride to the hospital, as opposed to showing up on the handlebars of a bike

It's good to see that you can still keep your sense of humor right now. I hope will all be well in the end. The image of you pulling up to Hospital Admitting on the handlebars of a bike is just too funny! Hope it doesn't really happen, though!

If you were planning on next winter maybe you will still have time. If not, perhaps WDW will have free dining next fall again and you could do that and save lots!!

Remember, a long journey begins with the first step. Thank goodness your husband is fine, you didn't go into premature labor and life still holds alot of blessings and growth yet. We can't experience blessings if we don't truly experience diversity. It like, you can't know what being on the mountain feels like if you never leave the valley.

Keep your chin up and as someone(s) post said, it was scheduled for a year or so away.
