Sad day....

Just found out my Uncle Frank as died, he was such a good man in every sence of the word. I never heard him say a bad thing about anybody. He would help anyone at the drop of a hat. He worked so hard and had even had a kidney transplant some 40 years ago....he was in his early 70 its just so sad. He lived for his family and every year at christmas ( we live in the UK) his house had so many lights on it..lol and the decorations in the house wow, everywhere. He was also in the Army as a young man and spent his spare time buying old medals and finding the history behind them and then framing them and getting them back to the family they belong to...such a good man.

I know what you mean it can take a while for it to sink in. It was like that when my MIL passed away, then you'd suddenly get reminded - it was weird. It does get easier though, you will always miss him but it doesn't hurt as much.
