I found out last night that my other sil (df's sister) is expecting her first baby and DF and I are going to be the godparents for the first time !!!! I'm VERY EXCITED !!!!!! Furthermore, the baby's due date is Jan. 1st!!!! how fun is that!!! I just had to share the good news! My other niece or nephew (from my brother) is due this august!!! I"m going to be a busy bride-aunt

I was wondering what bags I was going to use for the welcome bags. I originally wanted craft bags and then use a custom label from the creative boards but the other day I found the cutest bags at the dollar store so I'm going to use those.

I'm so freaking excited!!! my invitations got held up at customs for a bit but are finally in!!! Oh and did I mention that they are not exactly in my possession? They dropped them off yesterday while I wasn't home and sent me a card to go pick up my parcel at the post office. I rushed over there this morning to find out that they had not received the box at that location yet!!! Frustrating! You know when you are so excited and close to something you can almost taste it, that's how I feel. But I'm still excited they are here!!! I'll post pics asap

It's so exciting when the invitations come in, I can't wait until you finally get them. We had the same confusion when my proofs came from Randy. Linda thought they were going to be there one day and UPS didn't bring them until the next. I was so disappointed

Oh, I just came back from the post office with my box of invitations!!!!!! Before I started to fiddle around with things I wanted to post what I got and show you all my vision and prototype.

What do you think? The only thing I'm not so sure about is the pocketfolder. I really wanted metallic but the only color they had was a bronze that looked more orangy

That's what I am doing too. It's such a pain, but they didn't have the exact color I wanted at C&P. I hope you don't have tons of them to do! I only have to do 15, so it could be MUCH worse.

Measure 100 times, cut once LOL, ESPECIALLY for your template!

I only have a few to do so I'm happy about that. I originally didn't want to use C&P for those because they only had white, ivory cream etc and I wanted pink...but I couldn't find them in pink anywhere else and I wasn't going to cut out tons of cardstock so I settled
