SAB Tube Question ....

Hi robinb

I did not know you could use a noodle in lazy river section.
That is great!! Do you bring your own from home or purchase
at BC? I think someone said you can purchase them at BC.
Do you happen to know how much. We have one for my son but,
do not think we will be packing it in the suitcase, might take up too
much room. Thanks for any more information on the lazy river ride at SAB.
I am so looking forward to relaxing there when we go in about 2 weeks. :)

We bring ours from home. We gate check our stroller in a bag, so we stuff a couple of noodles in there. You can also buy one if you're doing a grocery stop. I recall seeing them at the Publix when I was there in July.

there is also a blow up version of fun noodles available that pack flat.

How deep is the lazy river part of the pool?

Also...have you used the blow up noodles? Are they sturdy? I just saw them at the dollar store yesterday but did not pick them up. I didn't realize you could use them. I'll have to run out tomorrow and grab some!

While i cannot provide any information about the noodles b/c i don't ever use them i can certainly provide some info about he lazy river. the lazy river itself is its own pool that is located between the larger pool and the large quiet pool. The depth of it varies, depending on where you are.... The majority of the pool area averages b/w 4.5-6 feet deep BUT there is one side that is both 7 and 8 feet deep.

To anyone looking for tubes I found pastel colored clearish tubes at the Dollar Tree in 30 inch size and at Target 36 inch size for $3 each. Dollar Tree was almost out in our area, Target had a good supply.

Hi John -- we'll look for you on the 21st-29th. Do you sit up in a lifeguard stand. ?

Hello Kallison! I most certainly do sit at the lifeguard stands at SAB. Actually, i don't just sit at a particular stand over there as we have a rotation. By the time my shift is over with i will have made it to each lifeguard stand at the pool area. That is of course in hopes that there isn't any sort of rain closing, which we tend to have at least one a day it seems. When at a lifeguard stand i will usually get bored quickly so i tend to stand up a lot so that i can stay focused on all the people that i need to watch.

For those who asked about the fun noodles at SAB, as mentioned, yes they are aloud but as an extra FYI -- we bought ours at the Atlantic wear gift shop in the BC last year for $3.00;) You can probably also get them slightly cheaper at Walmart for more like $1 or 2 from what I've heard but for those who don't want to have to buy them ahead of time or have to pack them, just thought I'd let y'all know they do sell them right at the resort.

HTH's some. Have fun everyone! :Pinkbounc :D :Pinkbounc
