SAB Lazy River - Depth

Does anyone know how deep the lazy river is at Storm Along Bay at the BCV? We have family with younger children wondering and I do not know first hand.

It's deep enough in places that an adult can't stand, but there is a nice sandy beach and several other shallow areas for small kids.

I believe it is 8 ft. or so at least in some places. This summer, my kids told me that and I didn't believe them until I went to the lazy river with my noodle and saw it for myself!

Thanks JimMIA! Sounds like I better advise not doing the entire lazy river and stick with the sandy bar and other shallow areas.
