S.W Rapid Rewards

Do you only earn rewards points if you use a S.W. Visa card or do you get reward points if you use another card to book your flight? I noticed when you look at the schedule it says you will earn points, but doesn't say that you have to use their credit card to earn those points

IIRC, you get the published points based on the flight. You also get additional points for using the SWA CC. Not sure if the published CC point basis includes the flight segment points, or if the flight points are in addition to the CC points. Someone else will know.....

You should get whatever the RR points (6 pts./$1) are for the flight as long as you're a member of their frequent flyer RR program. You'd get an additional 2pts/$1 if you pay for it on your Southwest RR Visa.
