Hi, I might have to switch to DD Marriott in November instead of CSR for money reasons. (Friend's family works there & can get me a REALLY good rate!! :))

Has anyone stayed there? If so, your thoughts?

And I know they have EE, but what about E-night?

Any special requests I should make?

(C'mon convince me, I'm still doing pretty good!!)

Thanks!!!

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott last September. We had no complaints. It definitely is not on par with Disney Deluxe & Moderate resorts, but you can pay less than All-Star rates at times. There is a restaurant on premises, and a little breakfast bar where you can pick up bagels, muffins, etc in the morning. They have an outdoor pool which we did not use. The building looks a little dated, but it was built in the '70's. The room was quite large and comfortable. All in all, I think you will be happy.

We have stayed there 3 or 4 times over the past 3 years and have yet to be disappointed. It is a pretty basic hotel and can't really compete with the theming of the WDW resorts, but the rooms are very large and clean and are a good value for the money and Marriott does a good job. Plus, you get the benefits of being on site. You can purchase passes right at the hotel (including UMP's), early entry, and I think we did e night as well (you can call the hotel to confirm this benefit). Add in the fact that you can walk to Downtown Disney and the Courtyard has a lot to offer.

We didn't really eat there other than a couple sandwiches from the deli counter - but they were good. The pool is basic but nice. I wouldn't think twice about staying there again.

sounds good - thanks!

100 days to go!!! (All double digits after this!! WOOO)
