Easy. Computers.

You know why they call it Windows, right? Spend 5 minutes with it and you'll be throwing it out of the ****ing window...

Some aspects of technology. I was born in 1970 and when I first started my career job in January 1993 we had one email kiosk that people could check email on. To be honest, no one really ever got any of any importance through email. We had to carry computers to our clients that were huge and heavy with tiny screens. We generally had one to share among a team of people. If you needed to speak to someone, it was generally done over phone and information was often received by fax. Looking back this was inefficient.

However, guess what? You were not expected to check email all day and all night, text co workers and be available basically all.the.time. In some ways the technology allows for flexibility, but in other ways, not so much.

The increase in healthcare/insurance costs. At the time of my birth, the entire bill for my birth complete with a week's stay in the hospital for mom was equal to 1 weeks pay for my dad.

At the time of DD12's birth in 2005, MY portion of the bill AFTER insurance was 2 months pay - and I have a higher paying job than what Dad had.

The decrease in human interaction

I agree with Soccerdad72. People are always on their phones...especially when driving. I mean its inconsiderate towards others who have to get to places on time (and alive for that matter).

Another thing that changed is forum groups. I found a close friend that i had for like 3 years and thought we were bff's but that all changed in 2016. It made me so depressed because we were more like sisters (i thought). We would face time daily and even met up once. Internet in general too.

I feel like I forgot how to talk to people IRL. Internet changes people.

Class/economic polarization. Also greed, cost of education, cost of healthcare including dental, and lack of customer service.

Politics.
I feel like there was a time that even through differences, politicians were willing to work together and come to compromises.
Now it just seems like they forget that they work for the people and do things just to spite the opposite party members. None of them really care about any of us, they only care about getting "their way".

Quality of TV shows. Too many dark shows or non-family oriented comedies that can be watched together. Also, what quantifies as music these days. It's gone downhill. Songs where the background music is what carries the dull hip-hop monotone voice that would otherwise not be considered singing yet makes it to the radio.

I agree with this.
Also reality tv (yuck).
Social media is a blessing and a curse.
