S/O: Well-known/famous movies your haven't seen

I’ve never seen The Godfather.

No Harry Potter. No Marvel. No Hunger Games. No Star Wars after the first one. No Mission Impossible. No Disney live remakes of their animated classics. I’ve only seen 28 of the AFI Top 100. I’m not much for movies, in case that wasn’t obvious.

I checked out the AFI Top 100, and I've seen 56. The highest one on the list I haven't seen is Schindler's List. I'm sure it's amazing, but I know what I'm getting into with that movie and I just don't want to go there.

When you say Transformers movies do you include the 1986 animated version? Because that is the Citizen Kane of Transformers movies!

I heard CODA was great. I've seen The Shape of Water, really liked it. Now there's a movie seems to be love or hate with audiences.
I love anything Guillermo del Toro, he's one of my favorite current directors.

Just remember another! The Artist. It was a winner and a critic's fave years back. I found the DVD at a thrift store years ago, still haven't watched it.

You all may remember this (or not) as one of the few modern silent films.

I've seen 14 of the top 50 as ranked by IMDB. Many I have never heard of. One, The Dark Night, is the only one from this century. All the others for me are prior to 2000.

I've seen a whole 21 on that list of 250. That should tell you something. Ha! And I just realized this is by ranking and not by sales/profit, etc.

I've never seen "Shawshank Redemption". I simply have no desire nor interest in seen this movie.

I haven't been to a movie theater since 1998. They are too loud and the people are too annoying. So I haven’t seen most of the big blockbusters since then. No Star Wars after the initial three, no Marvel or other superhero films, no fantasy, sci-fi or horror films, and no franchises. I never saw the Godfather films, the Terminator films, the Potter films (although I did try to watch the first one on tv and gave up), no Hunger Games, and no LOTR.

I like comedies, musicals, films based on books I have enjoyed, and films based on historical events.
