?????'s first time onsite, Please help

we have never stayed at a disney resort before. I had a couple of questions I'm hoping someon can help me with. We just paid it off last Thursday and we only have 38 days til we leaveCan someone please tell me when you get this 'disney mail' I keep hearing about and what it is u get? Also, do you have to pay to park at the parks if you are staying at a disney resort??? Thanks

I think your "package" arrives about 2 weeks before your trip. Depends on what was included in your package...in the past, we've gotten luggage tags, our Magical Express information, vouchers for photos and mini golf, etc...

If you're staying on property, you do not need to pay to park at the parks during the day. You can also use Disney Transportation for FREE!

Did you book a package?... If so, you will recieve a packet with your reservation info, luggage tags, and any vouchers that were included in your package (like arcade time, a free 5x7, etc). If you made a room-only reservation I don't believe they sent us anything (you just tell them your name and confirmation number at check in).

Did you book through Disney directly or through someone else like AAA?... I believe we received our packet 3-4 weeks before our trip from Disney. When we booked through AAA it was a bit later because they receive the packet and then you have to either pick it up from them or they will mail it to you. Either way, you should receive it by two weeks before you leave.


You do not have to pay to park if you are staying onsite. They give you a parking sign for your windshield when you check in at your resort. We had a car but prefered to use Disney transportation to get around while there.

Thank you so much. We did book a package. I guess I should have clarified. We are at the CBR, 6 day park tickets, free dining plan and booked directly through disney. What's this about picture vouchers? How do you get those? I am all about pictures!!

I think our last package had a voucher for a free 5x7 from your Photopass...but I can't remember. That was a while ago!
