?s @ DL May 9-11th...room upgrade?

Ok, a few questions I hope you all can answer...
I booked a room throught Travelosicity last week , posted it here and a few others got it too!
However, as I said I called them and Travel. told me that there was NOT a room at DL for May 9 and 10 at the rate I had up on the computer... so I said "Thanks, bye!" and booked on line.
Now I am wondering what will happen if DL Hotel doesn't have the room I booked online? I will be taking the print out of my ress. and did it using AmerExp. so there should not be a problem...I got a "View" room for $159.25 a night. I was quoted the same room from DL CM at 2xs that, and Travelocity said it was at least $249+ a night. A DISer said they have an AP at DL and were quoted $349! for the same room... so if I get there and it is all screwed up here is the questions...

Will they honor it?
If they don't have a "View" room will they free upgrade... Please, God!
Could they put us up at a lower cost room even thought we booked a View room?

I got some more questions, but will do a different post as soon as I can think of them...

You should try calling the hotel directly to see if they have you in their reservation system; they probably do by now. I booked through Expedia once and they (DLH) had me in their system within a couple of days. If they are showing a paid reservation for a view room then you should have no problem.

Thats a great idea! We won't be gettin into LA till 8pm and then have to get a car and drive from LAX... so if we are there by 10 or 10:30pm I think we will be lucky!

I don't really care where we are in the hotel. But in my heart of hearts I would love it if they had no View rooms left when we checked in and had to upgrade us to Conger. or move us to the Calif. hotel or some thing.. I know, greedy, greedy! But I have never stayed at a Disney hotel or resort! And I am lucky I get to this time as we got such a great deal! So no matter what I will be happy! It is just a quick side trip since we will be in LA for DDs grad from USC a week from this Fri.

And, bad mom that I am... I don't know which event I am more excited about! Disney or her grad... ok, I do know!

Be sure to call the hotel and check that they have your reservation. I had a problem with Expedia before and was able to get it fixed quick....My crazy Disney obsessed self always prints out my stuff and it saved me. Since then I always call to confirm!!!
