S/D teach rate limited?

I want to go to Disney in either August or September. I would like to stay at POFQ, but if it is not available I would like to use the S/D teacher rate. Do these rooms sell out fast and should I make a ressie now, or can I wait and still have the rate available later?

I would make it now. We are going to WDW in 2003 but plan to get the nurses rate locked up soon at Dolphin (wife's a RN) . But we want to stay in a MK resort but those prices wont be out for 6 months. So we want a back up in case our dates don't open up or the prices don't come down low enough. You can always cancel the other reservation up to 48 hours i believe but you have plenty of time to shop the other Disney resorts

Hi, I would make it now. On the Swan FAQ located on this site, there is a list of dates that honor the discounts. I would check and see if your dates fall during that time. Also know that if your date starts at a discount and some of your days are not at discount, you will retain the date you started with. Does that make sense. So if half you vacation falls on value rates and the other half at peak you retain value rates throughout the entire vacation. To go to the FAQ click on the link below my DIS CON clipart below.
