Hi,

I was just wondering what options there are for a reception/meal at S&D and what are the costs involved? We would have no more 20ppl.

Thanks

Alot of brides choose Blue Zoo or Il Mulino. A cheaper option would be Garden Grove. We were originally going to have a brunch and were planning to go with Fresh Mediterranean.

You can view menu's here:

I'm leaning towards Il Mulino for our wedding, but both BlueZoo and Il Mulino have similar options:

*Private rooms available with $1200 minimum spent on food/beverage
*Pre-set menus that include appetizer, entree and dessert that range from $55 - over $100 per person.

Shula's, at the Dolphin, is another option, but their food/beverage minimums seem expensive to me. You can see all the menus, etc on the swan and dolphin menu page...just click on the private dining tab on the left side of the restaurant page.

You could always eat at any of the those restaurants and not use a private room, then you are not locked into any minimums, but could still use the set menu if you wanted.

Many have used Garden Grove and it is slightly cheaper but there is no private room.

We had ours at bluezoo. Meeting the minimum wasn't an issue at all. The total cost was a little under $2900 for 18 adults with a custom menu, drinks, tax and gratuity. Everything was fantastic.

We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Cabana Bar, which is poolside at the Dolphin. I cannot recommend it highly enough if you'd like something more casual.

Are you set on a S/D reception?
Many S/D brides go to other restaurants for their reception meal.
I found that after having my ceremony at the Swan, moving to the GF. gave me more varied photo opportunities xx
