I have not stayed at the Swan, but have to assume their level of service would be comparable. Based on experience, I can't imagine feeling any more spoiled then when we're at the Dolphin.
Three instances jump to mind:
Our first stay at Dolphin we couldn't find the pool. When we asked someone, he said it's a little confusing, I'll bring you there and he walked us the entire way. Most people just give directions, which is fine, but it was nice getting the extra attention.
Another was when we had a slow draining sink. We let it go until we were all ready and on our way out. Then we called housekeeping and mentioned it. We also mentioned that it wasn't an emergency, but if someone could check it out, that would be great. I swear, there was someone at our door before we were able to get out and lock it. He finished in less than 5 min and it was perfect.
The last one was at 3am, right before the marathon. We went to Tubbi's for coffee. Everyone there actually looked awake and chipper. When they saw us getting coffee, they came over to us and said that coffee is 15-20 min. old. If you can give me 5 min., I'll brew you another pot. 20 min. coffee would have been just fine, but fresh brewed made that miserable, cold morning so much better.
I know these aren't anything MAJOR, but it just showed us that even with the little things, they go the extra mile to make you feel special.
