Just wondering if anyone can clear up a few questions I have.... 1. Any one know how often the activites and things change that are listed on the most resent navagators...(will I be able to look at a resent one and get an idea of daily to do's...or will it be totally changed when I curise) 2. How do the "shows" that are done durring the day (2:00) compair to the evening pre/post dinner shows? (looks like they are the same show...just a afternoon showing instead of dinner time). 3. I have seen there is a sail a way party in the evening at every port as we pull out...are there drink specials at each one? And if so what are they normally? 4. Okay all these drink special questions makes me look like a lush...but I just figure if i'm going to get a drink here and there i'd rather get the special and save some $$$...so how often are the 2 for 1 drink specials offered? (Daily?? or here and there??) 5. Is the beer mug worth getting? (dose it have DCL logo on it so it would be a good souviner even if it wasn't use a whole lot?

Thanks:teeth:

Hi, I will try to answer as best as I can

1.) The Daily Navigators do change from cruise to cruise, however, the activities are pretty much the same, just sometimes at different times. If you have a recent navigator you should get an idea of what to expect.

2.) The shows at 2pm are the same as the one's at night. They offer a matinee for a few of the shows. I know they definitley have one for Disney Dreams which should not be missed. Each time Ive been on board they have added other matinees. The day show is usually attended by the children in the camps. I am very into theater and I have not seen a difference in the quality of the performance so the matinee is worth checking out. I have yet to miss a performance of Disney Dreams matinne or at night.

3.) There are not always a deck party at leaving a port. There is always one huge one in the middle of the week and there are special activites on deck for the other days. The drink offers change all the time.

4.) Last time I was on the cruise the 2 for 1 only happened twice. IT has varied though

5.) the beer mug is a total money saver if you are a beer drinker. If you are only gonna drink like 2 beers the whole cruise, I would not recomend it.

hope this helps.

Lets just say this..don't plan your cruise activities around the navigators posted...the times and events ..while kind of the same..do change from cruise to cruise.

Don't miss the sailaway party at the Goofy pool. DH got the beer mug--didn't drink a lot of beers, but it was worth it and it is a nice souvenier.

They have 2 for 1 margaritas one night

At sailaway party up on deck as we are leaving Port Canaveral they will come around with drinks on trays and offer them to you...it can be a bit deceiving because you must pay for these...they are not complimentary. I have seen many people on these boards mention that when the trays came around they thought they were comp and were quite surprised when they had to pay for them. Everything will get charged to your KTTW card onboard.

They have free cocktails on the Captains Gala night in the Atrium. They will come around with trays with Cosmos, mai tai's and fruit punch (for the kiddies).

I also take advantage of every drink "special" there is.

Everyday there is a drink of the day that is cheaper than other drinks....they are always one of the nice tropical ones!!! I believe the drink of the day is about $3.75.

Thanks for the info....

I was wondering about the navagators...mainly for kid type activities...like the goofy pj party...just wondering what night it is normally on. I thought I saw on the most recent navagator listings for sail away gathering each night at ports...I'll have to look again and see what it was I was looking at... But thanks again for all the info. :teeth:

Okay...just checked the navagators I was looking at...and at ones posted on a diffrent site....and on the one I was looking at last night...on both Key West night and Cozumel night it lists a Sail a way party....where the other one I was looking at only had one mid week on the Cozumel night. So I'll just have to see what's up when we go.

One more question thought....what is Sparkling Moments (with champagne and strawberries).???

I believe it's the first evening the Captain hangs out in the atrium for autographs and so forth. They had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on the corner by Guest Services. There's also a periodic dessert buffet by the stairs between shutters and the promendade lounge some (if not all) evenings. (MAGIC)
