Hi! Has anyone done the S.A.S experience at Aulani before? Fun? We'll have kids as well as adults. Is it at the Rainbow Reef? How much is it and do you need to reserve in advance?

We did it pre COVID and really enjoyed it. It is in Rainbow Reef. We signed up once we were on property. Don’t remember the price, sorry. Wasn’t cheap but worth it.

Just looked on line and the price is $45 per person. Only on Mondays and Thursdays I think it said.

Just a few things to be aware of. Rainbow Reef is about the size of a small swimming pool, so you might want to adjust your expectations. It’s not what you might typically envision as an actual reef. Also, maybe my wife and I are alone in this, but it’s so crammed full of fish that they are constantly brushing up against you…arms, legs, swimsuit, etc. It’s basically a jam packed aquarium. Honestly, we were kinda grossed out. I love snorkeling, and getting up close with the fish, but not that close!
