It seemed kind of weird. I had the special at a place called Blaze Pizza, which included dessert, and I chose their s’more pie. But instead of traditional American style graham crackers, they used two McVitie’s biscuits. Quite a bit different.

Never heard of McVities, or even Blaze Pizza.

Speaking of blazes, I'm looking at that photo: did you not duck and cover when that atomic bomb was dropped in the distance?

Had to look up McVities, as I had never heard of it either--
From Wikipedia--
McVitie's (/məkˈvɪtiz/)[1] is a British snack food brand owned by United Biscuits. The name derives from the original Scottish biscuit maker, McVitie & Price, Ltd., established in 1830 on Rose Street in Edinburgh, Scotland. The company moved to various sites in the city before completing the St Andrews Biscuit Works factory on Robertson Avenue in the Gorgie district in 1888.[2] The company also established one in Glasgow and two large manufacturing plants south of the border, in Heaton Chapel, Stockport, and Park Royal, London. There are seven McVitie's factories in the UK, with each producing a different types of biscuit; the Harlesden site in north-west London manufactures the chocolate digestives.[3]

Under United Biscuits McVitie's held a Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II. The best-selling biscuit manufacturer in the United Kingdom, McVitie's produces chocolate digestives, Hobnobs and Rich tea (ranked the three favourite biscuits to dunk into tea), and Jaffa Cakes (the best selling cake in the UK). In 2020, sales of McVitie's biscuits in the UK were more than five times the next two competitors

It's kind of a custom mini pizza place, similar to Mod Pizza, although they're a bit thinner. They're from Southern California, and LeBron James was supposedly one of their early proponents - operating several franchises. The general idea is that they have a set price for as many toppings as one wants, although I suppose they might have a manager set limits if someone asks for something ridiculous. What I ordered was the monthly special, which was actually two toppings and either a drink or a dessert.

And yeah that's a gas-fired oven and they heat it up rather quickly. For my dessert they asked if I wanted it warm, and they put it right against the edge of the oven door, although I ended up taking it home.

I *love* McVitties; chocolate digestives are the just about the best-selling packaged cookie in the world, I believe. However, my fave, hands down, are PENGUINS!!!! Whenever I go to Ireland I stock up because they are so cheap there; in the US the only place I've been able to consistently find them is World Market, but the price is really jacked.

One year when we had just returned from a trip in September, I gave out Penguins for Halloween. Man, our house was popular that year, LOL! We had some that circled back.
