Well, from what I've read on some sites, many GL fans feel it's not ideal casting but better than the JT alternative. Does that mean that in a sequel they would cast K-Fed as Guy Gardner? (GL fans should get that joke)

RR may do a pretty good job in the role, especially if the tone is a bit like Iron Man and not as dark as the recent Batman movies. I would've liked to see David Boreanaz or Nathan Fillion in the role, but I can understand why the studio would want someone a bit younger to help carry potential sequels.

Now to hear who else they cast, especially as Sinestro.

Cool! I haven't seen The Proposal yet, but will probably get it on DVD.

OMG!!!! Run to the theater and spend the money to see The Proposal. It was the best $17.00 bucks DH and I have spent in a looong time to have an actual date night out.

We laughed so hard and so often during this movie, I walked away with a stitch in my side. We are still laughing about it. We busted out yesterday, when a song from the movie came on the radio. We will never be able to listen to this song again with out think of this one scene. Now if only the other song would have come on, it would have been perfect.

And Ryan as Wade in Wolverine.....he was perfect to play Deadpool. Now if the movie screen writers would stop messing with comic book perfection and let you truely see him as written in comics, a Deadpool movie, would be a smash hit.

I don't see him as very deep in talent and although he has amazing abs, I'm not wild about his face-seems too 'cute' rather than handsome. I'll see the film but I'm skeptical as to wether he can carry it acting wise. Romantic comedy is simply schtick and pretty easy for anyone.

I like that choice better than Justrin Timberlake. The Green Lantern has been my favorite (male) comic book character since forever! I think RR could be a respectable Hal Jordan. Besides, NOBODY ever pictured Tobey Maguire or even Michael Keaton as action heroes but they both owned those roles (though Christian Bale blows MK out of the water as far as Batman is concerned!).

The "Proposal" was filmed in the next town over. I went to check it out while they were filming...and yes, he is BEAUTIFUL in person. Sandra Bullock is very pretty too.

If you are big RR fan, you must watch "Waiting."
