RV Parks Nearby

I've looked at FAQ and tried to search and have found nothing. Are there RV parks near Disneyland? We just got a brand spanking new Motorhome and have a May trip to DL planned. We thought it would be fun to motor down.

There used to be some REALLY *****in camp ground right across Weat ST (now DL Dr)from DL. Some 'brainiac' built a parking garage there instead. Let me look in my old campground guide,and I'll get back to you. (unless someone else beats me to it).

We had a travel trailer and took it south all the way to DL and San Diego. We didn't really find any RV parks close to DL that didn't look like a parking lot, so we opted to stay at Newport Dunes. It's located next to Newport beach and the Hyatt Newport Hotel, about a 20-25 min drive from DL.

Yeah. I remember that one, but couldn't find it. Now I know why. Imagineering. LOL. I used to always park across from the hotel, at the old driving range and ride the monorail in. Didn't ever have to pay for parking. That worked for me all through the 60's and the many date nights at Disneyland. Walt was a great man. Things were always hoppin' there, until 2 a.m. in the summer. Ah! The good ol' days.

We stayed at the Anaheim Harbor RV Park back in september and October. It is nice. I didn't use the restrooms or showers, but my husband did and he said they were clean. It was quite, and they have a shuttle that goes to Disneyland. You can even see some of the fireworks from the RV Park. It is almost exatly 1/2 mile east of Disneyland and you can see the Matterhorn from there. I would recommend the parl. We did drive by travelers World and it looked like a dump but we never really entered the location. Good luck.
