Rut Row, Major cat fight!!!!

Rosie, sounds like you need some girl power in your defense.
You sure do get roped into a lot of these situations with the boys, don't you?

I can't watch the videos right now...something about being at work, and we're not allowed and all that jazz...but did someone mention nice legs?!?!?! :hyper:

Drag us down, Rosie! Drag us down!!

Are you kidding.
We do her bidding.
We do exactly as instructed by Rosie.
We all live in abject fear that one day she will kill us all.:guilty:
She's a tyrant I tell you!
You just don't see what goes on behind the scenes.
I've gotten 3 terse PMs, 2 threatening emails and one hurtful phone call just today.
I live in complete servitude.

It's only abuse if you're not willing...::yes::

The songwriting team of Mack Gordon and Harry Warren wrote this in 1942 for Glenn Miller and his orchestra.

Etta herself was covering it. Her version was first released in 1961.

The song was also covered by Nat King Cole in the 40's. I was familiar with his version, and hadn't actually heard it sung by a woman until I first heard Etta's version in WALL-E.

Nat King Cole = Music legend.
Etta James = Overstuffed Diva.

OMG! Call me a Luddite but I really didn't like that version! :guilty: I am so not into jazz though. :guilty:

I agree. It was more of a "my voice is shot, so I'll just speak the lyrics" type thing.

Yes, I will admit, Miss Etta had a better voice when she was younger and more Pooh sized. Sometimes, it's good to be fluffy. ;)
