Kinda have to agree with you on that. The more I watch POTC1,2,3 the nastier he looks to me, and the scenes where he breathes on people to get them to move away (or pass out) are quite effective on me!



To me, Brand looks like he's channeling Neil Diamond on his Hot August Nights cover, which just cracks me up.

I saw him in Bedtime Stories and thought he was funny, then in Sarah Marshall and thought he was funny again.

I can see where being close up to him, as long as he isn't smelly, could be nice, b/c he has nice features when you really look at his face and not at the way he presents himself.

I am going to very respectfully disagree with you on this point. I wasn't sure who he was either. Once I saw his picture I think I recognized him from a talk show but really didn't know who he was.

And, at least in my case, it's certainly not that I want to be cool...I'm way too old to be cool at all. I am really just out of it. And I can't try to pretend I'm too busy or sophisticated to notice silly things. My postings on the Real Housewives threads certainly prove I am able to make time to watch meaningless trash on TV.

I wouldn't say that he is insignificant. He is to some but he seems to matter to others and I suppose that entertaining people does in some small way make the world a little better.

I know who he is because of DD18 (and I like him a lot). Otherwise, I would have never heard of him. My daughter taped him on The View twice and showed me his segments and she recommended Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Otherwise . I don't understand your hostility towards people who don't watch a lot of TV or movies. Maybe you're very young or you're home a lot.

No I do not think he is attractive. In fact I think he is gross. He looks unkempt to me .I am not a prude in the least and I've only seen him when he hosted the MTV awards and I think he was very distasteful and over the top with his attempted humor.

I don't go to the movies or watch cable TV, so I never heard of him until I saw him on The View when he was promoting his first book.

I found him hysterically funny and have read both of his books. He did live a gross life until he met Katy, but I do find something disturbingly attractive about him. It's like Johnny Depp, he looks kind of gross to me but has sex appeal.

I also giggle at anything Craig Ferguson says! I guess I like accents

Is he my type, NO. But I think there is something sexy about comedians,not all of them. but Adam Sandler, not a hot looking man, but the fact that he can make me laugh hysterically makes him sexy to me.

Russel Brand makes me laugh, which he was also in a movie with Adam Sandler, so it was a laugh fest for me.

Johnny Depp is not my type and even when I see him with the Jack Sparrow garb on, there is nothing, but once he puts on that outfit, Holy moly. Just like when Capt Norrington in the 2nd one, it's weird but when he got all dirtied" up" he looked better then he was cleaned up.
