We're going to Orlando from Sept. 7 - 21, 2025 and staying onsite at Terra Luna from Sept. 10 - 11, 2025.

I was thinking about getting the Rush of Fear pass, as I'm planning on visiting probably 2 - 3 times at least during our stay. I guess, with that it's already cheaper than getting individual ticket for each night.

When do the Rush of Fear tickets usually become available for purchase? Is there limited availability and if so, do they usually sell out fast?

I don't think Rush of Fear sold out last year - even with express it was available for quite a long time - pretty sure I bought mine pretty late. The other multiday tickets with express sold out immediately as they only sold a handful of them it seems.

That said if and when it becomes available buy it ASAP - I think it was around July 10th or 11th last year.

So is there a Rush of Fear / Express combo? Only saw mentions that Express could be added to mult-night passes and thought this meant you would have to add individual express passes for each night you planned on using it. But as I only plan on going at most for 4 nights, I don't think an included express pass for all nights would be worth it, unless it would cost less than say 3 individual express passes.

But anyways, splitting the visit over several nights would allow me to do maybe 2 houses very early or very late when the wait is still manageable and then just enjoy the scare zones, rides and especially Diagon Alley for the rest of the night. (Last time I did HHN, in 2019, I believe, Diagon Alley was basically deserted, is this still the case?)

Usually around late July, there is Rush of Fear and then you can get Rush of Fear w Express. I got the RoF w Express last year and it was over $600. I go for 8 nights so that 2 Saturdays, Sunday, W-Friday so the Express was useful. Last year was the second year doing Express for whole stay. Previous trips I just did one night of Express with my Rush of Fear.

No. Death Eaters are in Diagon Alley now so way more people there. Also Rip Ride is closing early September

Thanks! That's a bit more than I'm willing to pay :-) But I plan on going mostly Wednesdays (when available), Thursdays and maybe Sunday, so hopefully, crowds will be a bit lighter.

Kind of surprised they didn't bring in the Death Eathers from the beginning, but I guess JK didn't want any Halloween related activities in "her" lands. Wonder who they made her change her mind.

My guess - $$$ - always a good motivator - not the she needs it. May have also been tied into new projects etc..

I was there the year they were projecting Halloween stuff on the front of the area and it was a holding area for stay and scream - then a few days later it was gone and the area locked off during HHN. Was really weird. Glad they worked it out.

Although I may question some of the things that go on in those areas - like no soda because its a "muggle" drink but they sell Guinness. Rules about no Alcohol in butter beer to the point of drink supposedly being confiscated .

That said I appreciate that she (or her people) protect her IP even though it seems over the top to me sometimes.

I always found these rules silly.

When I was on a Disney cruise I found out they're not allowed to put alcohol In a cup if it's got mickey on it. But I can freely do it. Just seems dumb in my opinion

I went 2 years ago, when death eaters were there and it was emptttyyyy. One of my kids and mine favorite memories.

Not anymore, the word is out about the Death Eaters in Diagon Alley. It was busy every night I attended HHN last year.

I can remember many years ago that Diagon Alley was almost deserted during HHN, but alas no more.

I just saw that the ROF pass is on sale now. Just curious why you have to select a start date as it seemingly doesn't affect the price.

Also, is the Universal website known for having problems with ticket sales? I've just spent half an hour trying to book the ROF pass, I'm logged into my account, chose a start date and selected myself as the ticket holder. Also, I have a credit card in my Universal Wallet. But when I click the "Buy" button, a red messages shows above saying an error occured, but no further details.

Start date is more for crowd planning like how Disney makes AP make park reservations still.
