My husband is a marathoner...this is his advice at the Poly:
He took the map that they provide for the course...BUT
The course isn't really well laid out, you don't know exactly where to turn. Also part of the course goes along the lagoon towards the chapel--you have to do a u-turn there, and they aren't very preceise about exactly where to turn--as an FYI--it's where the pavement changes to the different colored paving stones right by the wedding chapel. When he ran with his GPS the distance they gave was a little off as well.
Also, it crosses the road towards SoG and you don't know where to turn around ove rthere, either. FYI--the turnaround is where the path turns off to the gazebo, not to the guard shack. Be careful crossing that road, some drivers will not stop.
The best places to run on property are the path from the BW to MGM and the running path at PO along the river.
