Running my first race! ToT 10 Miler

Hey gang! I've signed up to run my first Disney race, the Tower of Terror 10 Miler. Does anyone know if my race registration covers the party admission too? What else do I need to know?

* Participants must attend Packet Pick-up at Disney's Health & Fitness Expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (to receive their race packet, bib, and tech shirt.) Finisher medals will be distributed to finishers after the race. None of these items will be mailed to registrants.

I'm registered for the 10 miler too, my first one! Will be doing the Expedition Everest Challenge in May, which is my first disney race. Your registration does include admission to the after party!

I ran it last year and I'm running it again this year.Your entry to the race does get you in the park for the Villains bash party but friends and family have to buy party tickets which are like $50-$60.After you finish the run the finish line is like a backstage area by TOT,friends and family can see the finish line by a walkway they open up by RnRC.After the runners finish and get their medals, drinks and RunDisney food box they then have like a 5 minute walk that let's them out into the inside of the park near the entrance. The bag check areas and changing tents were by the Indy show and they set up a family meet area by the front of the big hat.I thought the party afterwards would be a lot cooler than what it was,I mean it's always cool to be inside the parks real late but I finished around 12:15am and it just felt like any ol day at the park.Maybe while I was running there might have been some villains out and some dance parties or something but all I saw where a lot of tired runners sitting on the sidewalk curbs and about 3 girls dancing in front of a stage where some music was playing.I at least expected a short line for TSMM at 1:30am,it was still like 50 minutes which I wasn't making.After the run all I did was change clothes,ride TOT,try to ride TSMM but coming up empty,walk around the park and leave.The Run Disney races are always fun but I was a bit dissapointed in the Villains Bash.
