I think there was an option to sign up for a Runners World Challenge for the Marathon weekend at Disney World. I can't find any info on this. Has anyone signed up for this or done it before?

It is sold out. This was copied from the RunDisney Disney World Marathon Weekend website. About 2/3 the way down the page.

I knew it was sold out. I just couldn't find it for some reason.

Is anyone doing it or have you done it? Is it worth it? I wondering for next year.

I have not done this. I will also be interested to hear from those that did it. I will be doing the Dopey challenge in 2018 since it will be the 5th anniversary of the Dopey and the 25th anniversary of the Mickey. Should be special medals because of the anniversary years. 2015 I am only doing the Goofy.

I did the Runner's World Challenge for the inaugural Dopey. The $1K price tag was hefty.

If you ask me "Was it worth the cost?", I will answer you with the question "Do you think the Free Dining promo is a good deal?"

I could make a case either :thumbsup2 worth it or :sad2: not worth it.

I am not doing the RWC for Dopey in 2015, I just signed up for the regular off the shelf Dopey through runDisney. Personally, I don't need all the extra bells and whistles for my second time around.
