Looking for some input:

We've recently decided to head down to Orlando in May (week before memorial day, leaving early the Saturday morning of memorial day weekend). Main reason is we have APs for Universal and scored AP rates at our usual onsite hotel. Our original plan was to stay at DS the first night since we a) didn't get there last trip b) the Saturday rates are significantly more at HRH and c) we don't get in until around 5, assuming our flight is on time. But because I am me, I have started looking at options for the WDW parks while we are there.

One option is to stay the first 3 nights at Pop and use the hotel savings (compared to HRH) to buy a ticket. If we do a 2 day park hopper, we're basically just paying for the second ticket (or slightly less). My thought with this plan is to do one morning and one evening at MK and do AK one evening (with FOP FP) and DHS one morning (try for SDD FP). We typically do a hotel break but I'm thinking if we plan lunch around bussing to the other park it might be enough of a break. We've always had PH's for past trips but this will be the first time not renting a car. We're good with skipping Epcot but I don't really want to choose between the other 3 parks.

Thoughts on that plan? We do have the 4 day CDN discounted tickets as an option but even the base tickets are still another $80ish (USD) price jump and we'd be using 1 day for the arrival evening and 1 day for the morning before moving on to Universal so not like we'd get 2 additional full days out of it. And then we wouldn't be doing DS either.
