O.K. I think they are cute and I would like a pair even tho I hate shoes and wear Crocs most of the time. I have seen them on ebay for $185, on a different Disney resale sight for $285 and When I p.m.ed someone there who offered to get some they wanted around $175 a pair. Are people buying them and using them to pay for there Disney stay or what. I would have never thought of that but Now am thinking I could pay for a whole trip by buying and selling them. Man Does anyone know how much they really are at the booths? I might have to make a trip next year to the neverland fun run.

People certainly do buy them with the intent of "flipping" them. We were at WDW for marathon weekend this past weekend, and apparently there were about 200 people in line for the shoes, the night before the expo even opened.

This year, New Balance used a "ticket" system that gave you a time to come back to purchase your shoes. There were a maximum of four pairs of shoes per person.

Now, though people certainly do buy them to put them on ebay, it is definitely a way to get side-eyed by the general "runDisney" public. The shoes always sell out at the expos, and so there are not enough for all the registered runners who want them, especially when people are coming in and buying them up for the express purpose of selling them. But as long as Disney is allowing the general public to purchase the shoes, it is not against the rules and people are going to do it.

Personally, they're not my thing. I spend enough money on running shoes without spending $125 on a pair that I wouldn't even be able to run in.

I have no interest in them but the folks at Disney for marathon weekend were CRAZY for them. I didn't get to the expo until the last day, and they were sold out except for a few odd sizes.
