AK is definitely going Tier option?
Does anyone know if Tusker House ROL Packages will accept the AP discount?

Yes. FP+ booking for Pandora opened this morning. Its two major attractions are Tier 1, and all other AK attractions are Tier 2.

Tiers, got your answer. Pick one Pandora ride or the other but you can't get both. Hey, it could have been worse since AK could fully support the Tier system now. So for me, it's a pleasant surprise that they didn't go full out.

No discounts for the ROL Dining Package. Not AP, not TiW. You can use Disney Dining Plan credits.

I agree 100% about the Tier situation, I didn't want to have to choose between Kali, EE, Safari and the Pandora stuff

Bummer about discount though, assuming the same would be said about the Fantasmic packages, no discount.

I honestly expected just ROL to be in top tier with them. But maybe they aren't expecting long term high demand or will actually be offering 3 shows at night this summer.

Correct, no discounts on those kind of packages, same as dessert parties. Those are what I call "paying for FP+" .... Disney's way of selling FP+ while stills staying in the mode that they are free unlike Universals.

I think they are trying to figure out if they can run this thing 3x a night (apparent original plan) or at least 2x a night, every night ... and if they will allow packages on all the shows. Probably a logistics on paper decision before they release.

ANNUAL PASSHOLDER PREVIEW DATES FOR PANDORA ARE UP, and I am reserved!

Now to work my date to get myself there.

As of today, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can register for a preview period to get a first look at Pandora: The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Previews run from May 13 – 22, 2017.

PS All guests you register with you must have APs.

Reported that this applies to DVC as well.

Call me a sucker but I signed up. Dates are terrible for me but going to try to make it work. Figure I invest enough in the APs I might as well take advantage of this small bonus. Quality Disney logic right there.

I did the same thing! lol I still don't know how we're going to do this, but I just had to get our money's worth out of our annual passes. lol

It's the Mouse-itis! We can't help ourselves. But it saves me from going later for the 11-1am EMH with thousands of others.

Now I am playing around on hotel sites because we are literally driving down at night, sleep, full park day with Pandora Preview, sleep, morning at a park before driving back home. Disney prices are not acceptable even with discounts .... no surprise .... just to sleep and shower.

Next on my list ....................... I NEED TO WATCH THE MOVIE, I've never seen it.

Looks like I'll be making a solo overnight trip! (I'm the only one in the family with an AP.) I agree the dates aren't ideal - I tried to grab the Saturday 3-5pm time slot but it "sold out" as I was selecting it. I checked SW fares and they're more than reasonable midweek, so I went with the 6-8pm time slot on the 16th. I'll take the first flight down that morning, spend the day in the parks, check out Pandora that evening, and then head back to work on the first flight out the next morning. Sounds crazy now that I've typed it out, but I'm excited! Now to tell DH...

Hey Loungers.... I was just getting my Rivers of Lounging apparel together for our trip. So excited! Also, I just got the Star Wars Cantina shirt by Shag that I'm going to turn into a tiki dress to match DH in his tiki shirt. I already have cute sandals and Fascinator to match! How fun!

We're figuring out what to wear for the Galactic Nights. I'm thinking of going as a Twi'lek.

PS. We're going in April, so we're too early for checking out Pandora. Anyone know how to get those cool light-up flower drinks? Are they at Nomad Lounge?
