Anyone else see the proposed menu for Tiffins? I enjoy adventurous food but you can count me out on the frog legs tempura

Frog legs are good! My little cousin went to town on them at a seafood restaurant in Louisiana - told her they were chicken legs. They taste like chicken

Could be they are very excited to visit AK. It probably depends on their tickets, too. When I have hoppers and a possible extra day I've followed my own happy plan at WDW.

Is it really that strange to go to a park on arrival day? Our flight lands at 10:30 but by the time we get the DME to AoA and grab lunch for the kids I am estimating 2 at the latest at AK. I am hoping they will extend park hours but not counting on it and we have ADR at Tuskers at 6. Seems like a pretty awesome way to kick off a Disney vacation to me especially since we are pulling kids out of school and want to squeeze as much Disney out of our 5 days as possible.

Good luck! I got my paper turned in last night (whoever decided Thursday is a good due date for schoolwork...?).

Also, we might cross paths on 5/1. We have an 8:10 ADR at Akershus.

Thanks, you too! I have a prof that has everything due Monday at 2 pm. Why? Monday's don't need anything extra added. *sigh*

We had an Akershus breakfast but decided to kick out DH and turn it into a girl's lunch. We'll be there at 12! Maybe see you around Epcot though

I'd try it! I recently gave a presentation on eating crickets to a room of other dietetic majors and was surprised how unadventurous they seemed!

Sounds fun! I'd do it! Especially with the fun TH dinner "after hours" at AK

Edit: please don't get your hopes up by this, but wouldn't it be amazing to be invited to view a soft opening of ROL as you left the TH dinner?! Doesn't the park close at 6 and your ADR is at 6?

I doubt it would be at midnight if it happens. It would be in the morning or around noon.

I don't think anyone is expecting a blog post at midnight. More likely hoping that something will quietly open up before a blog announcement tomorrow.

However, many of us have had countless nights of waiting for this... so preceed cautiously.

I could see them announcing a delay and postponing everything, but I don't see why they would maintain the 4/22 opening if they don't think they're almost certain to make it, or to wait so long to release booking if they are certain?

Truly trying to rationalize what's going on.

6:05 to be precise. I have given up hope of having a planned ROL viewing but I am hoping for some kind of spontaneous magic.

I believe they are unsure when it will be ready. It's very possible the show will be ready by 4/22 but they won't know that until a week or two before that. I'm just saying don't get your hopes too high for any announcements tomorrow.

It does sound great. In my greed to pack in as much as possible, I tend to hit a park with later hours on arrival day. I think I stuck my nose where i shouldn't and I apologize.
