Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

I wonder if the FP for the night time safari will be called something different?
I had asked this before...because I was hoping to book both daytime and nighttime safari but the speculation is probably not. It will all be the same so people can't book it twice. But again, that's just speculation.

I'm thinking they are slowly coming up. Last night for the 27th of May I could only see it's tough to be a bug for the nighttime hours. This morning there is Everest, bug, dinosaur, and primeval whirl. I'm just not giving up my MK FP til there is one for the Safari!
Wow. They don't have all those showing yet for my date 6/7.....

So no Soarin' either? Interesting.... Glad you got most of what you wanted. Definitely keep checking if you didn't get the exact times. It took me about 1.5 weeks of modifying to get the exact times I wanted.

The system is so "fluid". After posting my message here last night, I went back to look at a few things in my FP schedule and was actually able to modify a few things to better suit our plans -- 3 different things that I had to do the split party/staggered time thing for I was able to reschedule for both parties at the same time. Right now, my only SP/ST is for ToT and it's a 10 minute offset. It's not really an issue but I'll keep checking the times when I look for Soarin & AK things a million times a day.

Am I the only one who has this image pop in their head while trying to schedule FP's??

For 5/28 that was also the latest EE FP I could book so far. I hate this gradual rollout... I wasn't planning on hanging out in the Disney app all day, lol. Guess I'll just check it every 30 minutes or so.
Probably a good plan. I'll be doing the same.

Does anyone else find it odd that I have a trip in a little over a week and in the last two weeks I've received two promotional mail packets from Disney telling me about the discounts they have available. The first one was for summer and the second was for spring(both this year). I keep thinking a) I already have a booked trip in spring/summer(whatever May is considered) and b) my travel agent blew your promotional pricing out of the water so no I won't check out my special Disney website.

Instead of those silly packets I wish they'd just send me a PIN code!!!

Alright my Lovely Little Lounger friends, I have another :offtopic: question for anyone who can answer it. (This is what happens when the last time you stayed on property you were 12 and had no control or say about anything. You find yourself 31 with what feel like very silly/dumb questions! lol) ANYwhoo.... my question is this: shipping from parks to resort. I know the few threads I've seen on here and FAQ I've read on the WDW site say to give 2-2.5 -ish days for things to be ready for pick up at the resort. What I'm wondering is if anyone has first hand experience that could confirm or refute that? My specific situation is that I set aside some tax return money so I can *really* have fun shopping. I do most of my shopping in the E:WS. I don't want to lug around heavy and or breakable things while trying to enjoy F&G. Most of my WS time will be spent on a Friday evening, I then check out of CBR on Sunday. Do you think my purchases would make it to CBR by Saturday? Or at least before check-out (we're asking for as late as they'll let us have) on Sunday?? Or is that just asking for disappointment???

While I am extremely disappointed to not be seeing any of the new activities (and still a tiny bit bitter), I'm ready to start my trip.:woohoo:

I feel sympathy for all the 'planners' that now have A new target date, reNEWed stresses to try and get the perfect trip plan, and HOPEs that nothing changes...

:rolleyes1There, a RoL post and SW answer to Paigevon, all in one efficient statement. :hyper:

I miss harassing the Bloggers...:bored:
Have a great trip! I also miss your blog harassment! It's now our turn to stress and wonder what will be happening for our trips!

I've been wondering the same thing. How do we know what time the "night safari" is? I assume it's going to be different than daytime with the simulated sunsets etc...so what time does it become "night safari"

On my date, sunset is 8:30 in Orlando so I'm assuming anything a little after that is night...
