My ADR date isn't until May 2 for our Oct. 29 trip - sure hope this is all worked out by then, plus we have MNSSHP dates! Would love a tusker house package since we were planning on eating there anyway.

Just had to jump in and say this thread has been so much fun to follow haha! However, I do feel for you guys going in April/May! And Michelepa your post made me LOL (in a sympathetic way, of course!) - it's like they are toying with you!

BOG is not prix fixe; a party of five can order a single cupcake (or a Mickey Straw) at breakfast or lunch, if they so choose.

Yes, another poster let me know (I already knew), but I presumed that since the entree breakfast portion were the same price across the board, that in essence it is still a prix fixe (unless of course others buy something different like juice, etc). But understandable.

Yeah, I guess technically it's not prix fixe but it is fixed price As in there is 1 price for whatever you order

Uh-uh honey, nope! Had to tell the boyfriend that Breakfast was a big fat NO when the pricing went up.

Dinner is a much better value, so we went with that, but $24! Are you out of your MIND?

It was like someone posted earlier that they would be so surprised to hear something other than "sorry you can't book yet". That's exactly what happened to me when the CM INCORRECTLY stated that she could only book the premium or preview package I really wasn't listening closely and said "wait what, could you repeat that?!".

We won't be there in April but I was going to get all the info I could for my DISers friends but ultimately I had nothing to report but had to share the heartbreaking saga with everyone.

I had to call about another ADR I have booked, so I figured I'd ask about RoL too. Sigh.

I spoke with a lovely CM named Maggie. Maggie sounded like she was about 102. She had never heard of Rivers of Light and wondered if perhaps I meant World of Color, because her daughter and grandkids just saw that and it was wonderful! I told her that no, WoC was at Disneyland, RoL was at Animal Kingdom, and I was curious about dinner packages for the show. She said she thought she might have gotten an email about that, but she "often has trouble with emails." Then she asked if she could put me on hold and promptly hung up on me.

I'm doing BOG breakfast this trip and probably going to end up paying $24 for a doughnut but have got to experience getting into the park early at least once. Take my money Disney...

went ahead at another's poster lead and booked a regular tusker house dinner for our date in early May. Afraid to think how much it'll cost, some of the buffets are mighty pricey. Not that it necessarily menas i'll be able to flip it over to ROL pkg but worth a shot at this point. I almost feel as tho i'm being pro-active lol

What I found interesting is that I had looked at the open times for dinner just the day before and it was wide open...not quite so when i went back to bookIMO Either this is an influential thread with many lurkers who took same hint i did and are scampering to book 'something' to up their odds or WDW removed a large portion of the dining slots...i'd like to think to allocate to ROL dining package.

I've seen more than a few tables of people make a scene at H&V for fantasmic tix when they claimed ignorance & just booked a dinner vs the pkg, not a pretty sight. Don't want to be 'that' person.

make sure to preselect your entrees or risk waiting forever! GD couldn't decide beforehand, you should've seen that line. We quickly got online and preordered on the spot!

I've got an early breakfast, so, I'm not even bothered at this point. Just not willing to pay that crazy amount for a breakfast and have nothing to show for it! It's like looking at Red Lobster prices (since they've gone up)--spent $72 for two people on two entrees, an app, and two drinks, I'm not OK with that for breakfast though. I just can't. But ALL MY BEST WISHES TO YOUR BREAKFAST!

We are in the "like to eat at breakfast at BOG" group. I don't think about the cost any more than I think about the cost of ANY meal at Disney. I go because I like it, not to get in early or any other reason.
