Try checking on the Discounts and Codes subforum of the Resorts Board. If there are any rumors about summer discounts, you will find them there first.

Also Google "Mousesavers Disney World Historical Discounts" and you'll get a listing of when discounts were released in the past. That should give you a good idea when to start keeping your eyes and ears open for one, although the release of any future discounts is not guaranteed.
