We were also given something pretty big for free - but our planner knew we wanted it and had discussed it with us and told us we could have it with no charge.
I doubt they would send characters in without telling anyone - what if the bride and groom didn't want to be "upstaged" by characters? that's taking a big risk.

It has happened in the past! It is called a magical moment! Having spent the last 10 years working for disney and in the wedding and convention area I have seen it happen. I have seen fireworks given and some other items. it is not often but depending on situations it can happen!!

Wow-fireworks at their wedding??? and as a gift from Disney? That's amazing!
Can people actually order special fireworks just for them? I can't even fathom how much $$ that would cost!
