rumors about early entry

Hi all,
Recently ( yesterday 10/16 ) after reading some rumors reguarding early entry, I decided to voice my concerns, and views to disney..
today 10-17-01 they responded below ytou will find their exact responce...

At this time, no plans relating to your inquiry have been announced.

Guests staying at our Walt Disney World Resorts may enter a specified theme park
each day up to one hour before the general public.

Their hotel IDs and valid ticket media are required, these must be presented
upon entrance.

The following is the current schedule for our "Surprise Mornings" program,
including which attractions and dining locations are available during the early
opening time frame (please know that offerings are subject to change without
notice):

Magic Kingdom Park - Monday, Thursday, & Saturday

Attractions:
All Fantasyland attractions, except Legend of The Lion King
All Tomorrowland attractions, except Space Mountain (opens at 8 a.m.) and Walt
Disney's Carousel of Progress

Restaurants:
Caffe Italiano
Cinderella's Royal Table (priority seating arrangements required)
Crystal Palace Restaurant
East Center Street (8 a.m.)
Little Big Top
Lunching Pad
Main Street Bakery (8 a.m.)
Main Street Cookie Shop (8 a.m.)
Pretzel Wagon


Epcot - Tuesday & Friday

Attractions:
Spaceship Earth
Wonders of Life
Test Track

Restaurants:
The Bakery Shop at Sunshine Season Food Fair
Pasta Piazza Ristorante and Fountain View Espresso
The Garden Grill at The Land (priority seating arrangements required)


The Disney-MGM Studios - Sunday & Wednesday

Attractions:
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Starring Aerosmith
Muppet*Vision 3D
The Great Movie Ride
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Restaurants:
Hollywood & Vine Cafeteria of the Stars

Please know that Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is not participating in our
"Surprise Mornings" program, as this park regularly opens earlier than our other
theme parks.

TRANSPORTATION:
Resort buses and Magic Kingdom monorail will begin operation at 7:00am.
Epcot monorail begins operation at 7:30am.
Boat launches going to the Magic Kingdom from Ft. Wilderness (Green) and
Wilderness Lodge (Red) will begin at 7:30am.

Boat launches going to Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios from
Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin/Yacht/Beach (Friendship Launch) will begin at
7:30am.

I just talked to WDW-Info, and they had no information on the decision to eliminate EE mornings either. They have cut back the nights of fireworks and Spectromagic, but all of the other parades are running as scheduled. Also, park hours are decided daily and are determined by park attendance.

Thanks so much for this info. We arew leaving tomorrow and after reading yesterday about no ee, the crowds and rain, I was a little disappointed. Thanks!!

I read the post yesterday with the article from the Orlando Sentinel and I've learned that nothing is official unless you actually talk to someone. So I didn't really believe what the Sentinel said....and it appears that they were wrong in what they were printing....thanks for sharing with us the response you got. I for one deeply appreciate it. I'm sorry, I need to correct myself...it was the info that was on Deb Wills' site.

I just called to make a dining PS, so I asked the CM about this while I was on the phone. She hadn't even heard the rumor, yet.

The e-mail that I got back from Disney also said that "no announcement" had been made. That wording leads me to believe that it is being discussed as a possible elimination.

Let's hope this isn't true!

Just my 2 cents......I also contacted Disney (yesterday) to ask if this rumor was true. This is the response I got...

You will be happy to know that Walt Disney World theme parks are continuing with
the Suprise Morning Admissions. On the website under resort benefits list the
early entrance morning information.
