Rumor Mill -- Menus Online?

So I was calling the dining reservation hotline to inquire for more details on the buffet dinner they're offering Sundays at the Tomorrowland Terrace, and the rep told me this:

Sometime this fall they should have the ability to share exactly what the menus are for all their restaurants. Specifically, I had asked if she had the ability to email me the menu. She said she will, in fact, have that capability later this year, but could not assist me with the request at that time.

Now if I could just get her to say 'And you will be able to make your reservations online' . . .
 
That is going to be excellent. Can't wait to see current menus and hopefully also make online ADR's. :thumbsup2
 
I would love the ability to make ressies online, and that would be so awesome if that's the "new system" they are working. The only thing I worry about is the website being overloaded with traffic and being slow or unavailable in the early morning hours.
 
Not that the menu they email you when you make your ADR at 180 days out is guaranteed to be current at the time you arrive at the restaurant. They DO change menus.

That is a good point. BUT, it would give you the ability to make adjustments/changes if they change the menu closer to your arrival time.
 
You could always ask for another menu. But I am of the opinion that with WDW restaurant menus, there are and there can be no guarantees. That item you want a week before you leave could be removed the day you get there.

Oh, you better believe the system is going to be overloaded if these changes are made. I am gearing up for when the system does go into place. Anyone want to have a side bet on how many posts go up about how the new system stinks? How many times they had to attempt to get on the system? How long they waited to get on the system? How slow it is? How they gave up and just called instead?
 
I gotta say, it's about time. It's kinda ridiculous that a company with so much money and technology doesn't have EVERYTHING on the web, right at your finger tips. For the amount of money and technology they have, it should be a breeze finding whatever you want!It might make people more inclined to go, if they didn't have to do so much calling around! JMHO though.
