I know a few, which area of the game are you thinking of.
I stage it this way:
1) at the end of the training segment: 50,000 plus
2) just before the start of the ambush: 332,000 to 390,000
3) at the beginning of the Scan: 496,000 to 642,000
4) at the end of the game: 999,999 to 1,167,000

based on the above and your experience of how your score progresses which area do you want a tip for?????

I'll take 2) just before the start of the ambush: 332,000 to 390,000 for 100 alex.

right hand track: hit the multi-eye stalk creature right between the front two stalks and stay there until he disappers for good.
on the right is the news stand, hit the dog in the head as long as your gun keeps scoring points. dead ahead is a two story building. hit the alien on the lower floor on the right once so his eyes light-up. Immediately look to right on second floor for alien that the eyes light up red and it sounds like glass breaking when you shoot him. hit him 5 times. by this time the car is doing its spin. after spin i go to second floor on right and hit anything in the windows. Hit the flower pot headed alien on the ground floor just past the steps. I then aim for the door at 11:00 that has the verticle blinds. while shooting this i watch for the alien on the second story window to appear. sometimes he scores multi-hit points sometimes only one hit. as car pivots aim for for alien on second floor at the window with the curtians that open and close. aim for lower left quadrant of window in upper right corner. stay on this spot until the car rotates to go into the ambush and you can no longer see the window.

left hand track: aim for multi-eye stalk in same area as the right hand track. the minute you have a clear line of fire for the alien on the fire hydrant hit him in the left eye and stay on it until you can not hit the eye any more. Go fast to the building straight ahead for the alien in the lower floor window and quickly go to the right for the alien in the second story window with the red eyes and glass breaking sound. Hit him five times. car will spin. go for second story windows in building on right one hit each. switch to the center creature on the left right between the eyes till he falls backwards. Go for the alien up in the second story window at 11:00. If his eyes do not change color repeatadly go to the upper floor alien in the window with the curtians on the right. stay there until you can not get a shot at it any longer. you are now in ambush area. Smile you photo op is coming right up.

by the way, this whole time you are holding the trigger constantly. you do not pump one shot at a time.
