I really liked Boolay, he asked us if we had enjoyed our stay, I told him ofcourse. I was curious how he and Reese became friends, he told me that he was doing a chalk drawing on the side walk one night and Reese came by, she was alone and he asked her if she wanted to draw and she said ok, so they were drawing and talking and having fun, then every night after that she would come by and say hello and tell him what she did that day. He said that she was a lovely young lady and I had raised her well. Every mother loves to hear that.
We then headed over to the bus line for DTD, I really was thinking on telling Coach and COley that I was going to MK instead, but I didn't. It just felt like such a waste not using our park tickets for the last day.
I sat with Reese on the bus. We got off at the second stop at DTD and headed to the Virgin store. Reese returned a hat she bought and we shopped around a bit, boredom set in real fast, there was nothing Disney about this at all. We told Coach and Coley that we would meet them outside.
Reese and I went and got candly apples at the Candy Cauldron. I ate mine right away because it was drippy and sticky. Coach and Coley came out a half hour later, the plan was to eat at Earl of Sanwhich but on the way we passed McDonalds and Reese wanted to eat there, so I told Coach we would just meet them back at the resort.
Reese and I got our burger and fries and ate outside. It was a gorgeous day, We finished up and then walked and snapped pictures, looked in shops and talked about the trip, she regretted already not spending more time with me, I regretted that we never really took a day at any of the parks just for the 2 of us. We vowed that we would come back again and do a mother daughter trip, but she said not until she graduates high school, I am pretty sure i can talk her into one before then.
We finally boarded the bus back to Pop, we shopped a bit more at the Pop store, I bought keychains for the 2 coaches who took over my squads for me while I was gone, I also got a keychain for myself. I met up with COach sitting at the pool, she had bought cookies and coffee for the coaches who took over her squad. We just relaxed, we had over an hour to kill before we had to get our luggage and board the bus back to the airport.
I got a little envious of the people I saw walking by us with their luggage heading to their rooms, their vacation was just starting, but I was ready to see my hubby and my boy.
Finally it was time to go get our bags, we sat them where the bus would pick us up and each of us took turns watching them while the other went and changed back into warmer clothes, it was all too real, we were heading home to the cold.
Our bus was 15 minutes late, but the driver said we would be there in plenty of time, and we were. checkin was more hassle here then it was in baltimore, we had to check the bags, then take them over to be scanned. waiting to go through security took a long time, but then they opened up another line and it went a little faster. It was close to 8:00pm, our flight wouldn't leave until 9:30pm, so we grabbed a sandwhich and some coffee, it was good coffee too. Reese got the ginger bread coffee and I got the candy cane we ended up trading.
After we ate we went to our gate and met a real nice girl heading home for the holidays, she hadn't been to Disney since she was 5, but managed to get to universal once with some college friends that year.
The flight home was uneventful, Reese did her homework, Coach and I looked at all the pictures we took on her computer. I like flying at night, especially at Christmas time, I could see all the Christmas lights below, I also saw a house on fire, and flashing lights from the fire trucks, that was erie to see.
Our flight landed and BWI was empty, We called Alisha to come get us, she was pulling up to the curb just as we stepped outside. We talked nonstop about our trip till we got to her house. We were going to switch back suitcases, Remember Reeses suitcase zipper broke and Alisha lent us one of hers, she decided to just let us take it home an I would return it to her sister who lives in York and her sister would get it back to her.
The suitcase was bigger than Reeses so we had a hard time getting into Coaches car, I ended up sitting forwarded the whole drive back home because the seat wouldn't lay back due to the suitcase, it was a little more comfortable then an airline chair. Kent had dropped my car off at Coaches house so she wouldn't have to go all the way to my house. We got to her place and quickly reloaded my stuff into my car, IT was almost 3:00am by the time I climbed into bed, actually I slept on the couch I didn't want to completely wake Kent.
6:00am Jim woke me and asked me if I wanted to talk about my trip, I tried to talk, but I fell asleep. Reese actually got up and made it to school that day, I really thought she would have stayed home to sleep.
I was debating going back to Disney again, it was going to be a solo trip, the family was really encouraging, I asked jim if he wanted to do a mother son trip, he said he would rather take a fishing trip, so one is planned for this summer.
I am going to Disney and a friend is now coming with me. You can read all about it in my pretrip which I will start work on soon.

Something happened today that I had to share though. My husband and I were eating lunch out and he came back to the table after getting our drinks and said he almost slipped on a plastic fork! I said "I know somebody that had that happen at Pop and she kicked it across the room!" He gave me a look sorta like this - 
and said "how do you know?" I 
and said I read it in her trip report!
I also loved the spaghetti ice and pizza ice (ice cream) I would love to take my kids to Germany someday my best memories are from there.
