Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

I’ve read “most” but not ALL of the pages here, so please ignore me/scroll on by if this has been discussed. I “believe” Universal is opening up only to “day visitors” so, no hotels? Disney might be having a harder time as they will be opening ( I’m guessing) with hotels/resorts also opening? I’m a little worried that Disney will switch you and “only” open the parks at first, then phase In hotels ( worries because we have reservations aug 2-8) I’m not sure what Shanghai did? If they will follow in their footsteps...but, are Shanghai resorts open also?

Universal hasn’t made an official announcement about their hotels either way up to this point. They are still taking reservations for June.

I have no idea what Shanghai did with their hotels. I know they opened their Disney Springs equivalent well before the park.

Shanghai opened hotels first i believe. Also universal doesn't own the Loews hotels, they have perks at the parks but they're not Universal's

Universal giving a lot of info, on masks on attractions, social distancing at VB...

I have always said Disney set the standard on things. They used to be industry leaders. However, the way they are handling things is shifting my perspective quite a bit. I think the management shake-ups, their complexity with over-extension of different aspects, it's made all of this a big tangled mess of wires and that has trickled down to their guest experience and service. There is truth to "the bigger you are the harder you fall".

I hope Disney will have this sort of same setup when they announce reopening, like a FAQ section just like this one.
Universal has been steadily rising in their costumer service and communication department, some people are just very set to only go to Disney and that's perfectly ok. But Universal has a lot to offer

And truthfully, Universal Orlando's Twitter game is on point. They have the best interactions with people.

Honestly can’t wait to see all the ride photos w/ masks - totally unique and a great way to document this bizarre moment in history.

Obviously not comparable situations AT ALL but it kind of makes me think of how the pink cake castle made for some really unique WDW pictures in 1997 and dates the pictures from trips during that time.
