I have a reservation using Developers Points next week at GCH. I have an infection and may have to be hospitalized. If that happens, I obviously can't go to DL next week :sad1:. Developer's Points reservations don't have insurance, MS is closed now. Can I reschedule my reservation as long as it is within the time to use my DevPoints? I think I used 18 borrowed points, too, but I know I just have to use them by the end of November. Boo! hoo!

Not sure if I get what you are saying here. But the dining plan can be cancelled up to 24 hours before check in with no cost. If you have to cancel the whole trip your points will go into holding and will have to be used by your UY end. That is if you cancel your trip with in the 31 day limit......

Sorry! I meant developer's points -- I forget there are other abbreviations for DP. :lmao: My trip starts on Wednesday so I may just lose my developers points unless I can reschedule before they expires. I am just going to wait and see what the doctor says today before I get too worried about it.

Okay, spoke with MS and as long as I cancel by Tuesday, the day before my travel, everything goes into holding and under the 60 day rule. The Dev Points have to be used by their expiration date 9/30/09 and the borrowed points have to be used by UY.

We just stayed at DLH on dev points, and as soon as the reservation was made, the points became reservation points. So those points now can only be used at the dlr hotels (in case your points could have been used at SSR like ours could have...SSR, exchange, or DLR hotels). Doesn't sound like that's a problem, but I'm not sure MS mentioned that in your call.

I thought our DP didn'st expire until Oct 3?
Hope you don't have to go through this and that your health is good!

Lisa, I hope you don't have to be hospitalized. Get well soon. Muush:hug::flower3:
