Rules on cancelling w/ Disney travel?

I just "created" a trip & my deposit was $200....If we CAN'T go, do I get back my $200?

Did you get insurance or not? You do get a percentage back, depending upon when you cancel but it's not full.

If you are 30 days or more before the trip there is $100 cancellation fee or a $25 change fee.

If you are between 5 and 29 days before it is $200 to cancel or $50 change fee.

If you are less than 5 days before there is a 50% fee to cancel or $75 change fee.

Tip: When you call Disney, DO NOT use the word 'cancel' if you really mean to reschedule. Our trip inadvertently got canceled instead of 'changed' dates when DH wound up in the hospital.

Good to know Alex2kmommy - I didn't actually MAKE the reservations & book - I just created it on the site to find out what kind of money I was looking at....just wondered the rules - just in case.
